At PFS, we know that your Fest campsite is home and you spend the remaining 360+ days a year at your home away from home! We are so very sorry that you will have to add another 366 days until you come home again, but we’re here to help!
BUT WHY CAN’T WE CAMP THIS YEAR!? I HEARD (INSERT CONSPIRACY THEORY HERE)
Because we need both a Mass Gathering Permit from the Montgomery County Board of Health AND a Memorandum of Understanding from Upper Salford Township to be able to host any event, regardless of COVID, PFS consulted with both entities and here is what we can and cannot do as a result of COVID conditions:
- We are permitted to have 1,000 paid customers in person
- We are not permitted to have any camping
- We are not permitted to stage the event on the farm
Due to the online nature of the 59½ Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival, we are offering our patrons the opportunity to have PFS set up a digital campsite just for them, open 22 hours (10am – 8am EDT) a day August 20-22, 2021 to help you to enjoy PFF59½ with your Fest Family!
Registered campsites will be listed online in the Campground Section of the PFF59½ site, but ONLY Campsites marked PUBLIC on your registration will be available public-ly for anyone to join on a “digital walkabout.” The password for PUBLIC campsites is listed directly below the icon. Campsites marked PRIVATE will be listed in RED and password protected for you and your guests.
PFS will provide you with a fully loaded premium Zoom Campsite that will include access to exclusive Fest artwork and images for your backgrounds (it’s like you’re at Fest!) so that your site can hang, eat, drink, be merry, listen to music, make music, and SO MUCH MORE!
