The Martin Guitar Charitable Foundation has helped to fund the Culture Tent this year, and we have decided to return this venue to the purpose for which it was originally intended. We hope to emphasize the historical, educational, and cultural aspects of our music and folklore.
This year we will be concentrating on guitar instruction and demonstration in various styles. Some will be for observation and some will be more hands on with an invitation to bring your instruments along with you. Certainly, questions and commentary will be welcome.
Culture Tent Friday 8/16

You will be expected to have knowledge of a few basic chords in order to maximize your understanding. Or you can just listen if you prefer. This hour will emphasize strumming and finger style playing. |
