We strive to make this working hay farm as accessible to everyone as possible.

Parking Overview for People with Disabilities:

The Philadelphia Folk Festival is held on the site of the Old Pool Farm. This beautifully scenic working hay farm offers us our charm, but also provides many challenges. We strive to make our festival as accessible to as many as possible. There are several Disabled Accessible Parking Areas available at the Festival. These are:

  • Free Parking Disabled Area
  • Reserved Parking Disabled Area
  • Camping Parking Disabled Area

ALL DISABLED ACCESSIBLE PARKING AREAS REQUIRE A STATE-ISSUED PLACARD OR LICENSE PLATE.

Free Disabled Parking Area: Located in the Wolford Rd. lot in the first parking row. Parking spaces are relatively flat and are next to where passenger shuttles, typically school buses, transport festival attendees to the Main Gate. Be aware that this is an open field, converted for use of parking. The ground is uneven. This disabled parking area is typically reserved for day-tripping customers who would like to forgo the fee for parking in the Reserved Parking Disabled Accessible Area.

Reserved Disabled Parking Area: Located in the Reserved Parking Lot (Point Parking Lot) on-site of the Old Pool Farm directly adjacent to the Main Gate area. This would be the best available option for accessibility to the concert area. The spaces are relatively flat. Be aware that this is an open field, converted for use of parking. These spaces are typically reserved for day-tripping customers. Close is a matter of perspective, but this is as close as it gets to the concert area. You MUST purchase the ‘Reserved Parking’ add-on available at folkfest.org to park in the Reserved Disabled Parking Area.

Camping Disabled Parking Area: Located inside the Clemmers Mill Rd. Gate directly to the right when you enter. This is the best option for those needing disabled accessible parking who are CAMPING. You do NOT require a 'Reserved Parking Pass' to park in this accessible area, but you MUST register with the Camping Committee to request a spot. You will be provided with a placard when you arrive on-site that will allow you re-entry to the lot. THESE SPOTS ARE LIMITED AND FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.

You may NOT move your vehicle between disabled parking areas. We ask customers to utilize the tram cart service to travel between the camping and concert areas.
