Valentina Sounds

Valentina Sounds is an Italian-born, Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter and Homey Award winner for Best Female Solo Artist. Her music blends the elegance of her voice training with the energy of rock and the melodic appeal of contemporary singer-songwriter music.

Raised as a classical pianist, Valentina traded Mozart for Led Zeppelin as a teenager, performing in rock bands throughout Italy. In her early twenties, she followed her dream of becoming a professional musician to Philadelphia, where she honed her skills as a composer, arranger, and producer. Her songwriting blends Euro pop sensibilities, rock energy, and folk storytelling into a sound that is both timeless and unique.

Accompanying herself on piano and acoustic guitar, Valentina is backed by Kevin Bentley (electric guitar), Tom Cladek (drums), Mark Tomlinson (bass), Molly Hebert-Wilson (backing vocals), and Sara Mingle (backing vocals).
