The 2026 Phila Folk Festival T-shirt Design Contest is On!

Unlock your creativity, and you might be the lucky winner of two All Festival Tickets plus more! Imagine seeing your design on a t-shirt available at the Merch Store at fest. Enter as often as you like. We can’t wait to see your designs.

  • There is no limit on the number of entries someone can submit. Submissions close Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
  • Our favorite designs will then go out to the PFS community to show their support and vote for their favorite design.
  • Not a digital artist? Designs can be as simple as a description and a napkin sketch.
  • There will be prizes! THE CONTEST WINNER WILL RECEIVE 2 t-shirts featuring YOUR design PLUS 2 ALL FESTIVAL PASSES!

Helpful tips:

  • Designs should include the words “Philadelphia Folk Festival” and/or either the smiley or banjo logo.
  • Designs should be for the front of the shirt only.
  • We encourage you to design with a shirt color in mind. Final prints will be limited to no more than 4 ink colors (including black and white).
  • Digital Design: Vector files are preferred. Otherwise, files (including photo of print-ready non-digital artwork) should be 300ppi at 12″x12″ minimum and submitted as a .jpg, .png, .pdf, .ai, or .psd file.
  • Napkin sketch or proof of concept artwork will also be accepted.
